Laurence Walsh-Gorse Hill Ward

It is a privilege to have been selected, once again, to be your Labour candidate in the May 2016 Trafford Council elections.

I have been your Councillor, here in Gorse Hill Ward, since May 2000, as well as being a Postal worker for many years.

I would describe myself as a community activist Councillor.

I want to see happy safe thriving communities right across Trafford with people satisfied with their council services - after all, they pay for them.

I want to see the streets clear of litter and dog fouling, the parks with good quality facilities, flowers and the grass cut.

These are important issues for residents, and for me as your local representative on Trafford Council. I will continue to work hard for you on the Council, and look to improve the quality of the environment, our schools, housing, roads, and all that is important to you and your families. On Trafford Council, I hold the position of Opposition Spokesperson on the Planning and Development Control Committee, and am a member of the Health Scrutiny Committee.

Do get in touch if there is anything I can help you with. My contact details are at www.trafford.gov.uk

For a safe pair of hands in your local Council, please Vote Labour on 5 May 2016.
