I am delighted to have been selected as your Labour Party Candidate in St. Mary’s Ward for the Trafford Council local elections on 5th May 2016.
I live in Sale and care passionately about the local area. I work as a serving firefighter, as well as acting as Brigade Secretary of the Fire Brigades Union across Greater Manchester.
As a local resident, I know that Sale is a great place to live. I want to make sure that it stays that way, and believe that the Conservative’s sustained cuts at both ward, local council and national level are destroying the public services on which we all rely. This is placing undue pressure on the poorest and most vulnerable in our society. This is unacceptable.
If elected as your local Councillor, I would be open and available to work for you and with you in dealing with the important issues that we face. I ask for your support as a strong voice for local residents striving to get the best deal for St. Mary’s Ward.
Please vote Labour on 5 May. Make a difference.
